Counselling Approach

The focus used in counselling incorporates an emotionally focussed therapy based on cognitive behavioural strategies, integrated with exploration of family of origin history. The role of emotions in behaviour, and how to understand and manage these emotions, is of particular focus. The goal of counselling is greater self-awareness and skills to more effectively manage relationships, life situations, personal goals and behaviours.
